Corporatocracy At Work In America:

The re-election of an incompetent President has taken place and now he and his corny administration are preparing to hand out lush rewards to Obama’s top bundlers, like the European Ambassador post to either Great Britain, or France (although I would have to think long and hard about such a gift, seeing as Ambassador Chris Stevens is dead!) to such individuals as fashion guru Anna Wintour, for her generous contribution to the Obama campaign of over $500,000 dollars!  According to a recent article by Michelle Malkin; also included in this short list of awesome Christmas pressies from the White House are finance chairman Matthew Barzun and investment banker Marc Lasry who also rose over $500,000 for the president. But hey, Obama and his administration are all about the middle class, the little people, not the big BAD Bankers!  While Obama travels around the country lecturing everyone about the Rich having to pay their fair share in taxes, he and his administration are in bed with these same Rich individuals. So now everyone who contributed to Obama’s re-election is calling in their favors!  Yes Mr. President, it’s time to pay-up! http://townhall.com/columnists/michellemalkin/2012/12/05/christmas_for_obama_bundlers?utm_source=thdaily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl

Another fine example of the Oligarchy of corporate elites hard at work is John Boehner’s recent declarations of war upon Tea Party conservatives, those individuals who have not towed the party, those independent thinkers, who have voted their conscience, who have stood up to the Capitol Hill corruption! Yes Mr. Boehner has removed Rep. David Schweikert from his position on the Financial Services Committee for resisting the party line too often as reported by Jonathan Strong of Roll Call on Dec. 3, 2012. Also removed from key committees were Reps. Time Huelskamp of Kansas and Justin Amash of Michigan, both removed for not towing the party line! In an article by Matthew Boyle, 21/3/12 Freedomworks Matt Kibbe states the following:

“[t]his is a clear attempt on the part of Republican leadership to punish those in Washington who vote the way they promised their constituents they would – on principle – instead of mindlessly rubber-stamping trillion-dollar deficits and the bankrupting of America. This is establishment thinking, circling the wagons around yes-men and punishing anyone that dares to take a stand for good public policy.”  http://www.breitbart.com/BigGovernment/2012/12/03/Boehner-GOP-leaders-purge-conservatives-from-powerful-House-committees

Clearly top Republican officials are now vying for the affections of the Corporatocracy making sure that they remain in their seats of power, by cutting loose those who will not play by company rules, and tow company lines! This is evidenced by the recent exodus of Dick Armey from Freedom Works the Tea Party Group he helped to establish! According to a report in NewsMax on Wednesday December 5th CEO Matt Kibbe received a terse email resignation from Mr. Army on November 30th in which he stated the following:

“Effective immediately I expect that FreedomWorks shall remove my name, image, and signature from all its letters, print media, postings, web sites, videos, testimonials, endorsements, fund-raising materials, and social media, including but not limited to Facebook and Twitter.”

This story was broken by the website Mother Jones, in which Dick Army told the site:

“The top management team of FreedomWorks was taking a direction I thought was unproductive, and I thought it was time to move on with my life. At this point, I don’t want to get into the details. I just want to go on with my life. http://www.newsmax.com/newswidget/armey-quits-freedowmworks-tea/2012/12/04/id/466327?promo_code=F470-1&utm_source=Fox_Politics&utm_medium=nmwidget&utm_campaign=widgetphase2

It will be interesting to watch and see how our public officials position themselves with the Oligarchy of Corporate elites as they continue to compete for the coveted seats of power, oh to be among the God’s and Goddesses’ of Mount Olympus!

Very good, Andrea. This is just another reason why we need a Constitutional Amendment requiring term limits for all levels of government, including the (not so) Supreme Court.

  2. Brian Dodds says:

Good job Andrea, the level of corruption amongst this bunch is unparalleled in the history of the USA, you bring to light the big issues and lay them bare for all to see, keep spreading the word.

Another glimpse into the ‘shadow reality’ we’re all wandering around in and virtually no one seems to understand. I like your word – ‘Corporatocracy’ and liken it to the contemporary-traditional one of ‘Cronyism’. It amounts to the same; we’ve allowed the marriage of big industry with government just as our Founders have warned us against. The result is blatantly obvious to those who care to look, but, like you, I’m afraid it will do little good. Too few see it. This includes the ill-informed ‘conservatives’ who might otherwise be against establishment, the Democratic party, big government and liberal-ISM in general, but may still support artifices like minimum wage laws, ‘limited’ unionism, SSI and Medicare as good things rather than like the socialist policies established under ultra-progressives like FDR and Johnson, and not in line with the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God.

of course like your web site but you have to check the spelling on several of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling problems and I in finding it very troublesome to tell the reality then again I will certainly come again again.
